Maintenance Technician

Orkla Foods Sweden prepares food and beverages in Sweden with love and care for people, the sea, and the land.

We are now looking for a maintenance technician for our Eslöv factory. On a manufacturing area the size of 60 football fields, nothing stands still, and we are developing for a sustainable future, both mechanically and humanly with innovation and automation.

Responsibilities:

As a maintenance technician, you will work closely with the entire maintenance organization to ensure stable production operations. You will collaborate closely with our maintenance and production departments. You will help prioritize which maintenance needs to be done within the factory and share responsibility for ensuring that agreed actions are carried out.

Your main tasks and responsibilities include:

Troubleshooting and performing urgent actions
Problem-solving
Installation and repairs
Working with preventive and ongoing maintenance, improvement work, supervision/inspection, and repair work.
Assessing maintenance needs and addressing problems
Assisting the organization with specialized skills in the mechanical area.
Participating in technical projects and improvement projects within maintenance.
Contributing to a developing and safe working environment and a reliable machine park.
Working to ensure we have a safe and operational facility
Being helpful in questions regarding the machine park, methods, and working methods
Ensuring that corrective and preventive maintenance activities are carried out according to plan.
Assembling, maintaining, and managing machinery
Being involved in long-term improvements regarding the machinery installations

Qualifications:

We want you to have:

Technical education at the high school level or equivalent
Practical experience in the field
Experience with pneumatics, machining, and welding
If you have knowledge and experience with SAP, this is also an advantage.

Knowledge of turning and milling is desirable but not required. Experience in the food industry and knowledge and experience with SAP are also advantageous.

Other requirements for the position:

Good computer skills.
Good language skills (Swedish and English).
Good communication and collaboration skills.
You have a maximum travel time of one hour to Eslöv.
